EMIXX WEST AUG 28-30, 2026 Pre-Launch Information

In partnership with Boredbrain Music, the team behind EMIXX in Ashland, VA, we are excited to announce EMIXX WEST, an intimate, community-first, hands-on modular synth, hardware, and pedal exhibit, with a gear swap meet, DIY workshops, live performances, and guest speakers. The best part of events like these is the people we meet, so this event focuses on building community and inspiring each other to create more music, tones and gear. Join us AUGUST 28th – 30th for an amazing weekend in beautiful Colorado to be reminded why we got into this niche gear.

Vendors Info

We understand planning events takes time, and to be fully transparent, this is a volunteer-powered first-time event of this size, so we are building it as we go. Here is what we know (or mostly know!)

  • The date of EMIXX WEST is officially August 29th, with a mixer event scheduled for the night before, August 28th.  We are confirming an evening show on August 29th and a daytime show on Sunday, August 30th.
  • We will advertise this as a free show that people can register for.
  • We would like to keep table fees on the lower side, hopefully under $300. We will offer sponsorship opportunities. 
  • This is all taking place in Denver proper. The weather should be good this time of year. 
  • Saturday’s EMIXX event starts in the morning (11 ish) and ends at 6 ish. We have one DIY event planned, and we may be able to plan another.
  • We have a venue, Craftsman & Apprentice, locked in, but we may expand to a larger venue depending on how many vendors fill out this form below. But in any case, we at least have a home to do our DIY activities, swap, and vendor tables for demos. 
  • Sign up to let us know you are interested, and I will follow up with more information. 

Volunteer Sign-Up

EMIXX WEST is looking for volunteers to help with the main event. We could use help with:

  • Setup: tables, cables, and power
  • Check-in: vendors and guests
  • Vendor support during load-in
  • Managing/assisting with the PA system
  • Cleanup + breakdown
  • Carpools for out-of-state vendors

 

DIY sessions

We’re also looking for a few soldering stations we can borrow for the DIY sessions we’re planning.
