What is Doombient by CMSS?

Doombient is a style of dark ambient music. Our events and albums have expanded that to include dark wave, slow industrial, and sometimes dark techno. We ask artists to keep in the spirit of Doombient by keeping the style dark and moody. Check out the albums on Bandcamp for a taste.

Is it all Modular Synths?

While not performances, our releases are 100% made with modular synth gear. DAW-less music-making is central to how CMSS operates. We embrace the improvisational and impermanence of building patches and live performance. Never the same twice.
